So you have came across channels other than BWL official websites and BWL Mobile app to get the skincare products?
As DR’s Secret & Aestier become more well-known, and many actually falling in love with the products, first of all, I would like to thank you to those who support and trust me. But on the other side, with their increasing popularity and more fans around the world, we eventually found out the brands attract the attention of counterfeiters!
These counterfeiters have illegally misused our trademark on other types of consumer goods. Some even used it on imitated skincare products but with their packaging which are completely different from ours!

As its legal distributors we strongly recommend you not to purchase DR’s Secret & Aestier products through third party websites or platforms, but if you insist to, here are the tips you possibly may want to refer to, so that you are able to distinguish the original DR’s Secret and Aestier skincare products from the counterfeit ones.
1. Product Packaging
(a) Exterior Design
Existing DR’s Secret & Aestier series come with packaging in white, grey and blue as its keynote brand colours. The packaging of the boxes are all using the palette, as follows:

As for No. 10 Aqua Boost Serum and Vitalising Eye Mask launched in more recent years, both of their packagings are in light beige colour.

New and unused skincare products should also be wrapped and sealed in plastic wrap:

(b) Interior Design
All the cleansers, cleansing creams, moisturisers and sunscreens come in similar soft tubes with black caps:

The vacuum bottles are also in the same palette of colours, with black or silver pumpheads and black caps, except No. 10 Aqua Boost Serum in white cap and grey bottle:

Serums such as T3, No. 7, No. 8 & AR Essence use opaque glass bottles, and the colors of each product are as follows:

2. Brand Logo
Here, please get to know the designs of the three registered trademarks of DR’s Secret, Aestier and BWL. At present, these three registered trademarks have been officially registered in as many as 18 regional countries around the world.
Because it is a registered trademark, any counterfeiting behavior will have to bear his/her legal responsibility!

These are some of our trademark registration certificates for your reference:

3. Logo on Packaging Box
Genuine DR’s Secret & Aestier boxes are printed with small glossy logo images as background picture on the boxes. The surface looks smooth and it is printed on the front, top and right side of the box, but when you put your finger on the logo images, you can feel the embossed logos.

4. Product Codes
Each DR’s Secret product comes by a “product code”, which is convenient for users to determine the order and steps of using the product.
This product code is printed on the front of the box in the form of a watermark (except the eye care and masks products which do not have a product code).

5. QR Code
Scanning the QR code on the outer box will lead you to the official DR’s Secret website. DR’s Secret logo should also be printed in the middle of the QR code.

6. Barcode
The product barcode is printed on the bottom of the box. The first 7 numbers must be “8887723”; “888” represents Singapore, and “7723” is the code of the DR’s Secret brand holder – BWL.

7. Embossed Fonts
The lettering on the bottles/tubes of the product is clearly visible under the light. When you swipe your finger across the surface, you can also feel the embossed fonts.

Reminder:
If you have any doubts, you may refer to the latest product packaging diagram on DR’s Secret official website

If you suspect any counterfeit DR’s Secret products, please report it to your skin buddy immediately, or contact BWL directly. The company, as the official and legal holder of DR’s Secret brand and its registered trademark, will not be hesitated to take relevant legal actions to ban any illegal acts against others that infringe and deceive consumers.
In any case, we always believe that the packaging of the products may easily be imitated, but unlike OEM skincare products, the professional “secret” formula that DR’s Secret has brought to the consumers over the years is definitely difficult to copy & paste.
