This question is commonly asked when we are exploring for opportunity to make extra incomes. To me, Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) and Direct Selling (DS) companies do have differences, but I am not going to argue on it today as you can actually get tons of the information on the Internet, do feel free to do your own research.

What I am going to share is the opportunity with Best World Lifestyle (BWL), the only DS company listed publicly on Singapore Exchange (SGX: CGN), 14 years after its incorporation in 1990, which focuses on R&D and distribution mainly on its skincare (DR’s Secret & Aestier) and wellness (Avance) products.

Whether it is a scam, you can define it after you know everything about the opportunity here, how much money you can realistically make, and the pros and cons of the business.

How to Earn Money from BWL

To be very straightforward, it involves selling.

It’s strongly recommended that you personally use the products and you love them. Just like sharing to your friend how effective Dyson is to you, be the ambassador for BWL by yourself.

You can build a business rather than just sell products, to earn a full-time living from BWL. Not different from the others, it will involve hardworks, but rest assured what you put into your business is what you will get out of it.

E-commerce seems to be rapidly growing, so as BWL business, especially after COVID-19. Rather than in-person selling, many are connecting via social media, ie Whatsapp, Line, Telegram, Wechat and Zoom nowadays. Alternatively, you may still share it off the line, best if demonstration is possible for DR’s Secret skincare range.

Joining and Startup Costs

As BWL is having strong growth in US recent years, so I will take US market as example.

Anyone can kickstart as its Business Associate (BA), with $630 for Skin Radiance or Skin Renewal Set that consists of a set of 8 products, depending on your current skin condition. The shipping fee is free with purchase above US$200.

It is recommended that you can get yourself a skin consultant (aka skin buddy) so you learn to optimize the result with correct steps from the start. Distance is never an issue now as we can be connected with just a smartphone even we are ten thousand miles away. Just to share with you, I am living in Malaysia but my skin buddy is in Australia, with supports from experienced beauticians & aesthetic consultants in Taiwan.

BWL offers free courses via Online Academy in BWL Mobile / BWL EXS to make sure the distributors are equipped with its product knowledge and essential skills & tools to build business. Here’s a reminder, you can only enjoy this privilege by signing up through its official channel as given.

Just an extra note, customers from foreign countries may opt for Beauty Plan (2000PBV), which helps to save some shipping costs and waiting time (on separate orders). Most importantly you are entitled to start enjoying 25% – 30% points rebate from next purchase onwards, after promoting as BM.

There is no hidden charge, but bear in mind your credit card may have charge(s) on overseas transactions.

Compensation/Marketing Plan

Now, onto the money! How much can you really make with BWL? It depends on how much you want to work and how much effort you invest in your business.

There will be no compensation at all for a VIP, so start with BA for extra stream of incomes.

There are many direct sales companies out there, but so far BWL should be one of the minority that does not require its distributors to stock up every month, unless you are actively making full-time income from it. As a side hustle, you only spend when you are sponsoring someone, at least 50PBV in order to earn bonuses.

BWL Praises and Complaint

Now that you know all about BWL and its business opportunity, you’re probably wondering, “Does it work?”

Honestly, again that’ll depend on how much you want it to work, mostly, then the business opp and compensation plan. A well-designed system is ready to support everyone from how you can earn money to how you can lead.

You do not have to be good to start, but you have to start to be good.

And yes, I am with BWL for myself, its opportunity has worked for many other mommies who have joined. There are many on the track and still going strong after 10 years. The trend has changed and E-commerce is leading us, especially stay-at-home mommies are now given the opportunity to explore side hustles while taking care of kid(s).

Not to underestimate the mommies, but if we can, who else cannot? LOL!

To be fair, everything has its pros and cons:

Pro: Excellent Products

According to several reviews, BWL’s products are worthy of their costs. People rave about how great the skincare line, DR’s Secret is.

When you have great products, they almost can sell themselves. The foundation-free skin on your face is going to amaze people, let the products speak for themselves.

When you’re in the business of selling, that’s always a huge help!

Pro: Several Bonus Opportunities

There are 13 types of bonuses and incentives that you can get when you sell BWL, which can be great for people who plan to really move ahead and grow with the business.

Pro: NO Monthly Purchase Requirement

Many can’t stand about a company when it makes you order a minimum amount of product each month to stay active.

For BWL, you only need to spend at least 50 PBV worth of sales to stay in business, which is equivalent to $100. In fact we are using the product ourselves, so it is like you do not have to fork out more expenses on skincare/wellness products when you earn some commission being a not-so-active member.

This requirement is desirable for someone who just wants to sell casually. Or if you do not want to sell, but just use the products for its efficacy then this may sound perfect for you.

Pro: Inheritance

This is incredibly great as your achievement above SD Level can be inherited to your next generation or your next-of-kin.

Pro: Only Promotion, No Demotion

As mentioned above, you do not need to shop every month to keep your account active. Just ONE product in a year you can maintain your ranking.

Con: Pricey Products

As great as BWL’s products are, they’re also equally as pricey.

Not everyone will care about the cost of the products, but many others will if they’re sticking to a strict budget.

Another Con is that you may have Selfie & Wefie pictures overloaded in your photo album. Well it’s just a joke, welcome to share with me your thought if you are an existing BWL member too.

Conclusion

There certainly are a lot of customers who are happy with BWL’s products. If you are considering selling BWL products, you might want to spend some time as a customer first, in fact we are practicing it this way here as no one wants to be salesy.

If you do not want to sell, sure, why not? Nothing to lose, and hey u gain a healthy glowy skin!
